Welcome to the new Arena. Watch the gladiators strike crashing blows on their opponents. All are welcome. All sorts of fights and meaness is sure to ensue! Much bloodletting and tears are guaranteed! (especially the tears with LadyC about). Derisive spectators are encouraged!


LadyC *picks up abadoned popcorn* saying, "This sounds like fun entertainment. The pantomine actors have become such a dreadful bore since there is no one to deride any more."

heehee! I just listened to Freddie Mercury singing Queen's Fat Bottom Girls! (Brian May's song, I believe. hmm...Fat-Bottomed? dunno. It's a fun song, though. I lurve it.)

I will think fondly of Freddie on September 5th -- which will be the anniversary of his birth. :8}:-x

The Arena has been so quiet lately.

No more bloodletting. The heat of summer must be keeping everyone in doors.

LadyC picks up her blanket and delcious popcorn and heads to the gate.

She spies some small Roman children, they smile as she hands them her delicious popcorn.

LadyC heads for her villa, missing her Caesar, musing, "Ahhh what would he think of such a beautiful day? Temperatures not too hot, not at all cold. Narry a cloud in the sky. The birds are singing, and all in towne is peaceful." The literbearers come forth to bear her home, she waves them off, saying "No, I think I'll walk for awhile. But stay close, my foot is not as well as it once was."
