Newsreader comes to the front of the crowd and lifts his hefty gait onto the platform:

Welcome to the new Arena. Watch the gladiators strike crashing blows on their opponents. All are welcome. All sorts of fights and meaness is sure to ensue! Much bloodletting and tears are guaranteed! (especially the tears with LadyC about). Derisive spectators are encouraged!


LadyC *picks up abadoned popcorn* saying, "This sounds like fun entertainment. The pantomine actors have become such a dreadful bore since there is no one to deride any more."

Thanks MOB and Nomad... :8} Haven't been able to show my legs to their advantage in quite awhile (since last February when I broke my ribs). Heels didn't set well with broken ribs, and then the ankle problem and the doctor putting me into orthopaedic shoes... but I defied the doctor yesterday!!! Wore heels... LOL... well... at least for one evening. :) Back to the orthos now though.. LOL

Oh.. btw.. added a few pictures I made today of him with his trophy. My sister and her "intended" are having real Trading Cards made with him on them for us... so I had to have a bit more "professional" looking pictures done. :)

So, that means there are more pictures of him if you want to see more... same link. LOL

Landon is 11... won't be twelve until June. They do grow up so fast. Earlier today my dad found a picture of Landon when he was about 9 month old! Nuk and all!! LOL

Thanks! It is alot of fun... but alot of work and frustration too... especially when we dont' "hit the setup" quite right!

I'm working on getting the video of his awards on now. Should be running about 11:30 tonight... Can find the video at the same place as all those pictures. :) Under the Photos-Videos page and then click the link to the pictures site. :)

What's so cool about this video is this is Landon's first "publid" speach! :) Everytime I've tried to get him to speak on camera he'd go mute on me!!! But he did great! He had a second of nervousness (as seen by his laugh at the beginning of his speach at the podium) but then he gathered it together and gave a quick, good, extemporanious speach! I AM SO PROUD OF THAT.... As much as I am about his winning the championship! :)

My grandson is going to be 12 on Tuesday. Omigod the time passes quickly. It was just yesterday when I called him Binky-Man, and now he has hairy legs and armpits!!!!

*winks back* thank you thank you. :) The trophy will be given out next month. It is over 4 ft tall (almost as tall as the boy is! LOL... and a "championship" jacket that is embroidered with the series name and "champion" as well as the boy's name on it. :) He's really looking forward to that one so he can wear it to school. LOL

And my dear Cerb... he's not my son... he's my sister's grandson! LOL

Uh.. you just got there too early... they were actually waiting for me and my boy. He is the CHAMPION of Junior Mini Cup Car racing this year! And he's only 11 years old! And when we won 2 weeks ago, this was definetly the son we were singing! Still Are! And will through to the awards ceremony in November.
